We’re bringing the energy this summer with our first-ever Downtown Logan Quick Draw Art Competition — a fast-paced, one-day art event where creativity meets community impact.

Unlike traditional plein air painting that unfolds over days, a Quick Draw gives artists just a few hours to start and complete a finished piece on-site. That’s right — brushes hit the canvas, and the clock starts ticking.

How It Works:

Artists will check in the morning of August 30 and receive their canvas stamp. From there, they’ll have a set time window to create a finished artwork on location anywhere in downtown Logan. When the clock runs out, brushes are down — and it’s time to frame, hang, and celebrate the work.

Exhibition & Sale:

Once the work is submitted, it will be displayed for public viewing and made available for sale that same day. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and collectors to purchase fresh, original artwork created in real time.

20% of all artwork sales will benefit the Cache Valley Center for Hope, a nonprofit supporting families affected by cancer — so every purchase supports a meaningful cause.

Prizes & Recognition:

A guest judge will select winners, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 artists in each category.
